Lee and Garth Brooks on the same show, wow !! Here is the link for the Lee's appearance on the Oprah Show . It was very cute and the look on Carson's face was priceless.
Happy Veterans Day and a Thank you to all of our military.
Here are a few new interviews that Lee did. In the next few weeks I should have quite a few more publicity things that Lee will be doing for the SMDM DVD release.
Lee Majors, who kicked off his career as young buck Heath Barkley in the 1965-69 TV western The Big Valley, has been tapped to play his old character's father, Tom Barkley, in a 2011 big-screen remake. "I have a beard I've been growing since July because they keep pushing back the start date," says Lee, who will get to kiss Jessica Lange (as his wife Victoria Barkley) before he's bumped off. "The story's very true to our original pilot. They just backed it up a few years so you get to know the father and set up his affair with another lady."
The delays in shooting, Lee tells me, may cost True Blood vampire Stephen Moyer his role as Tom's son, Jarrod Barkley. "We're now supposed to start in Louisiana the last week of November, but Stephen goes back to True Blood in L.A. in late November, so they may lose him." Wouldn't that suck... (Inquiries to Moyer's reps were not returned.)
A Q&A from Parade magazine:
Q Throughout Farrah Fawcett s illness, we didn t hear much from or about her ex-husband, Lee Majors. Did he attend her funeral? Nancy James, Lake Arrowhead, Calif.
A You can straighten this out, Majors, 71, tells us. It was reported everywhere that I was there. I wasn t. I have my own memories of her, and I didn t want to be a distraction. He does say, however, that he and Fawcett were in touch. We were hoping to do a play together, he reveals. Fans of the actor can see him in the classic 70s series The Six Million Dollar Man, out on DVD for the first time next week.

As of right now the three of them will not be taking pictures together, but will post more information when I receive it.
Also, please remember that Lee is still waiting to hear about a guest shot on a show so it is not definite that he will be attending the Austin show.
Looks like G.I. Joe Renegades will be premiering November 26th on the Hub. Here is information on the show .

I would like to make a correction of the September 27th post. A little more information and a picture of G.I. Joe Renagedes which will be airing on the new Hub Channel.
Lee will be the voice for General Clayton Abernathy (Hawk).
A commanding officer who walks with a cane due to a combat injury, but is still tough-as-nails. GENERAL CLAYTON ABERNATHY doesn t trust the smiling face of Cobra, but knows they carry a tremendous amount of political influence. There s some evidence that he may believe in the evidence of the G.I. Joe team. Regardless, GENERAL CLAYTON ABERNATHY still feels the G.I. Joe team should turn themselves in, and has no qualms about ordering DASHIELL FLINT FAIREBORN to capture the Fugitives.
September 9, 2010
Lee and Faith were out and about celebrating Sunday night in Los Angeles. It looks like Lee is ready for the Tom Barkley role in the Big Valley movie. However I just learned that filming has once again been pushed back to mid October. So it looks like Lee will have to keep the beard a little longer.

Susan Sarandon Out, Jessica Lange in for 'The Big Valley'
Filming set to begin in Baton Rouge in July
By Robert Falconer | Wednesday, May 19, 2010
Despite being in negotiations to star as matriarch Victoria Barkley in Daniel Adams' and Kate Edelman Johnson's big screen remake of the '60s TV oater The Big Valley, Susan Sarandon is no longer involved. Instead, actress Jessica Lange will don the corset originally worn by the late, great Barbara Stanwyck.
Production will begin on July 19 on location in Baton Rouge. Set in the 1870 s, The Big Valley is the dramatic story of a wealthy ranching family and their conflicts.
Written and directed by Adams, the screenplay was inspired by the original pilot from the TV series, but also employs new material. The new film is being executive produced by Kate Edelman Johnson, whose late father Louis F. Edelman created the series, and produced by Straw Weisman and Steven Brandman.
20th Century Fox has a "first look" deal with the production company for all North American rights.
Arclight Films is handling the foreign rights sales. Fox currently distributes the original series, but so far only Season 1 and the first half of Season 2.
Lee Majors who starred as Heath Barkley in the original series recently announced that he will portray Thomas Barkley, the father of his original character, who, in the mythology of the story, died prior to the beginning of the 1965-69 series.
Jessica Lange seems like a solid choice for this part. Those who have followed her career since her debut in 1976's Dino De Laurentiis production of King Kong, know that the actress has amassed an impressive roster of character portrayals in her work, not the least of which includes Sweet Dreams, Blue Sky, Music Box, Frances, Country and Tootsie, along with an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of 'Blanche DuBois' in the TV production of A Streetcar Named Desire.
Lee will be doing a narration for a documentry. It's titled Heading Back Home: The Story of Franklin's Unknown solider and the five bloodiest hours of the Civil War. A trailer was just put up on you tube It isn't completed yet but will keep you posted.

"Captain Lee" was on The Community last night on NBC. Lee played Professor Slaughter and taught a sailing class in the school parking lot. With Chevey Chase as a student you can imagine things didn't go very smoothly. I have put some screen grabs up.

According to a recent interview with Richard Anderson, both The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman will be returning to US cable television.
Anderson said that both The Six Million Dollar Man and the original Bionic Woman would be returning to U.S. cable channels on June 1st, 2010. He also added that all seasons from both series would be broadcast in their entirety.
Universal Studios tells me spending one million dollars bringing films up to today s standards together with a huge promotional campaign. Anderson told the forum. There is talk that it ll show on NBC Syfy channel
Also Richard says the long (very long) talked about Six Million Dollar Man Movie still may be made.

March 12, 2010
Lee and Farrah had planned a reunion project from radaronline.
Farrah Fawcett had planned to reunite with ex-husband Lee Majors on stage.
According to Lee's manager Denny Bond, the 'Charlie's Angels' star - who lost her battle with cancer last June - had been in secret talks about joining Lee in Las Vegas production 'Love Letters'.
The pair - who separated after six years of marriage in 1979 and had been estranged for two decades - would have played two ex-lovers who spend their entire lifetime trying to get back together.
Denny said: "We had many discussions with Lee and Farrah and we had planned on a Las Vegas opening and doing a Los Angeles charity performance for her soon to be established cancer foundation as the kick-off to the tour."
The show would have been produced and directed by Craig Nevius, the controversial filmmaker who is currently being sued by Farrah's estate over claims he leaked confidential information about the actress to the media.
The filmmaker confirmed he was going to be involved with the play, and says Farrah was very "excited" about the possible reunion.
He said: "'Love Letters' was the perfect stage play for the two of them. Lee would have played a conservative, no-nonsense politician who had been in love with his childhood sweetheart for decades.
"Farrah would have played his childhood sweetheart who grew up to be an eccentric, free-spirited artist. Farrah had a lot of ideas. She was excited about the whole thing. So was Lee."
Although the pair never got the opportunity to work together again, Lee was in contact again with Farrah before her death.
Craig added to Radar Online: "I'm sorry the two of them never got to work together again. But I am glad Farrah and Lee reconnected, in real life. That was important. I know it was to Farrah."
